A total of 791 works, cartoons, were competing for first, second and third place to occupy in the Second Edition of the International Salon of Humor, which is conducted under the Mazatlan Cultural Festival, 2009.

The place of honor is occupied by Darko Janev, from the Republic of Macedonia, independent state in the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe, while the second and third place were Paulo Volmar Mattos Vilanova originating in Brazil and Spain, respectively.

The trio of cartoons is part of the exhibition of more than 400 works assembled by the museologist Municipal Art Center, Alfonso Jimenez Tiamo, who works in the gallery are alternating the Teatro Angela Peralta, which itself is open to the general public to January 12, 2010.

"The Second International Salon of Humor, has been a success in its two editions because of this, we received 791 works from 383 participants, who could send a maximum of 3 works, same as above from 61 countries worldwide. The controversial issue of this edition is "God."

This exhibition tells us more than anything to see how people from other countries and even of another religion sees God, the concept they have of him.
