Организаторы пишут, что оказывается,
английское слово
"houseman" не совсем соответствует французскому "L'homme au foyer"
и немецкому "Hausmann". Потому они просят заменить
"houseman" на
"househusband". Последнее
буквально означает "домохозяин", т.е. муж, который предпочел отказаться от карьеры для того, чтобы заниматься
только домашними делами. В 70-е такое слово имело шутливый характер, нынче же употребляется вполне серьезно.

Dear Andrey,
I thank you very much for announcement of the rules of our contest 2010 on your internet site.
Concerning the english version of this rules we find out that the english word "houseman" doesn't mean exactly the same as the french and german words "L'homme au foyer" and "Hausmann".
To prevent any misanderstanding I ask you to change the word "houseman" in "househusband" and to put the word "houseman" behind it in parentheses. Like that: Househusband (houseman).
